Hi friends!
You might have seen some shots on Instragram, but we saw Coldplay last night! I’ve been wanting to see them live for the longest time. REB saw them about 6 years ago when Parachutes was first released, so it was a treat for him too. We all got to wear wristbands that lit up when the show started and started flashing during certain songs. They had balloons, big glowing balloons across the arena, confetti, black lights, singing happy birthday to Will the drummer, and of course, really good music. They put on a great show and you can tell they love their fans. They even did their encore in our section a few rows away from us! It was amazing. Here are some shots from the show (and dinner before ;)):
So that and Radiohead earlier this summer marks the end of our big concert plans. After I go to a concert, I always seem to want to attend more! Maybe there are some peeps coming to smaller venues….
What is the best concert you’ve attended?

Ahhh, you LUCKY DUCK!! I’m not a huge fan of live music (and therefore, concerts) but I would KILL to see Coldplay!! Love all the lights and colors! Looks like it was a fantastic show!

You’ve just never been to a concert with REB and me :) We have a pretty rad time ;) haha.
Awesome photos Aparna! You really make that ampitheatre look MAGICAL (and that primavera too – wow!). I saw Cold Play about 8 years ago, and they are definitely in my top 3 best concerts so far, along with U2 and an outdoor concert at the Lincoln Park Zoo (don’t laugh when I tell you it was Train – they were awesome!).

Oh wow, U2 would be so cool to see live! They came to Michigan State Spartan Stadium for their 360 tour and I heard it was a great show! No judgment on Train :)
FUN! I really want to see Coldplay in concert. A friend of mine went a year or two back and said it was one of the best she’s ever been to.
They put on a really fun show and keep the crowd engaged, which is always a plus!
Hmmm I think The Darkness at The Phoenix in Toronto. I believe in a thing called loooove!
Ooh, that was probably a ton of fun! I would love to see them live!
