FAQ

I haven’t been taking photos forever, but it sure feels like it. It’s something I love doing and I have been asked questions regarding it. You can find those and their answers below.

Q: What kind of camera do you use?

A: I use a Canon Rebel XSi for most of the photos you see here. Why Canon? It’s a brand I love and trust. I’ve been a Canon fangirl my whole life. I love their build and their variety and line of lenses.

Q: What kind of lens do you use for your photos?

A: I rely heavily on the Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens [aka the "nifty fifty"] for food photos or portraits. It works great for me! It’s lightweight, compact and you can’t beat the price. I also have a Sigma 18-200mm OS which is my every day lens.

Q:  Can I use your photos?

A: I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t be flattered if you wanted to or did.
However if you do, please notify me first. All the photos in this blog, unless otherwise noted, are ones I’ve taken, so I would like to be credited for my work.

Aparna E. Bankston © 2012-2013 All Rights Reserved should do the trick. You can contact me if you need further information.

Q: Can I link back to your blog?

A: Surely! Just please make sure credit is given where needed.

Q: Do you take photos professionally?

A: I wish! It would be a dream to say I was a professional photographer. Sadly I’m a computer monkey by day and wannabe photog by night. However, I have taken portraits of my friends and family, as well as photos for Round Town Cupcakes

Q: I want to see more of your photos and set up a session. How do I do that?

A: My photography web site is finally up and running! It’s still in its early stages, but I’m very excited about this new venture. If you’d like to set up a session or find out more information, please click here and check it out!

Q: I have a question you haven’t already answered. How do I contact you?

A: You can either leave a comment here, or click here to be taken to my Contact page.
