Cam Erac Anon! He’s the newest and bestest present I got myself!
Cam is perfect. Why did I wait so long to own my own DSLR?
I just have the 18-55mm lens it came with, but I do plan on hopefully getting a fixed focus lens and then hopefully being able to save up enough for an awesome macro lens. I love it!! I’ve only had it a day, but I’ve already been able to take some beautiful pictures. Sigh. I love it.
Now, don’t get me wrong. My little point and shoot Powershot A590 is still in my life, and will continue to be.
However, it’s seen better days. As you can see, the battery door is cracked and won’t close back up. I’ve dropped this little one a number of times, but it hasn’t failed me yet!

I never ever did it out of anger though! I mostly dropped it when I was walking the dog and he’d pull too hard. He may not be a very heavy dog, but he’s exciting, he makes me drop things. Lesson learned. Cam will NEVER be in my hands if the dog’s leash is also in my hands. That’s for sure.
Regardless, I’m so happy with Cam already. I think he and I will be very happy together.
